Sri Prem Rawat’s Video event on “UNDERSTANDING THE BUSINESS OF LIFE: Humanity and Peace”

On the 25th of September 2024, the International Peace Day event was held at the Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), Shameerpet, Hyderabad.

 The event was collaborated with the Raj Vidya Kender Volunteers to emphasize the importance of peace and well-being. The program was attended by key dignitaries including the Director of IPE, Prof. Sreenivas Murthy, Ms. Tara Komarraju, Raj Vidya Kender,  Dr. Asha Lourdes, the student counselor, Prof. Rajkumar Pillai, Prof. Jyothi, and Dr. Venkata Nagaiah.

The event began with an introductory video presentation on Mr. Prem Rawat, followed by a video of his peace message, delivered at Infosys. This video resonated deeply with the audience of approximately 70 to 75 students, focusing on the theme of inner peace and how it can be achieved in today’s fast-paced world. 

Prof. Sreenivas Murthy welcomed the volunteers and addressed the gathering, emphasizing the significance of peace in both personal and academic life. He encouraged students to reflect on the insights shared by Mr. Prem Rawat. To honor the spirit of the event, copies of Mr. Prem Rawat's book, "Hear Yourself: How to Find Peace in a Noisy World," were distributed to the students who actively participated in the discussions and activities during the event.

The session was a profound reminder of the need for peace in a chaotic world and inspired students to explore ways to find inner calm amidst the noise.

Capacity Building Programme, Ethics and Governance

 Shri Ajay Kumar Singh, Chief Vigilance Officer, Union Bank of India, addressed the students on "Capacity Building Programme,  Ethics and Governance" on 18-09-2024.

Prof. M Mehar Karuna, Coordinator - Placements, received Golden Star Award for Best Placements performance in the ceremony.

 The Golden Star Awards 2024 presentation ceremony was held on September 19, 2024, at Taj M G Road, Bengaluru. The Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE) was honored with the "Excellence in Placement Performance Award."

Inauguration of RFID based Library Management

The Institute of Public Enterprise Library inaugurated RFID-based library management at its Library on  9th September, 2024.

The Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE) Library has successfully integrated Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology for seamless automated library operations. As part of this project, we installed and commissioned Self Check-in and Check-out kiosk, two workstations at the Circulation counter, three-panel security gates with an integrated sound sensor, and a handheld device for stock-taking for the benefit of library users and Staff. Prof Sreenivasa Murthy, Director of IPE, inaugurated it. The inauguration event was attended by the Deans, Faculty members, FAO and Library staff members.
