Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), Hyderabad, organized a program to celebrate National Librarian's day on the birth anniversary of Padma Shri Dr. S. R. Ranganathan(12-08-1857), who is the Father of Library Science in India. We are conducted Elocution and essay writing competitions as a part of Librarian's day. To encourage that students and winners of the both competitions would be given prizes.
Prof. N Laxman rao, UGC-Emeritus Fellow, Dept. of Library and Information Science, Osmania University, Hyderabad, was the speaker. Topic on: 'Role of Library in furthering the Academic Excellence.
