A two-day National workshop on “Impact of AI on Library and Information Work” was organized by the Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE) on April 03-04, 2025 at its Shamirpet Campus, Hyderabad. The event was sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi. The workshop was conducted successfully with active participation from attendees representing various institutions, colleges, and universities.

Sri Prem Rawat’s
Video event on “UNDERSTANDING THE BUSINESS OF LIFE: Humanity and Peace”
On the 25th of September 2024,
the International Peace Day event was held at the Institute of Public
Enterprise (IPE), Shameerpet, Hyderabad.
The event was collaborated with the Raj Vidya
Kender Volunteers to emphasize the importance of peace and well-being. The
program was attended by key dignitaries including the Director of IPE, Prof.
Sreenivas Murthy, Ms. Tara Komarraju, Raj Vidya Kender, Dr. Asha Lourdes, the student counselor, Prof.
Rajkumar Pillai, Prof. Jyothi, and Dr. Venkata Nagaiah.
The event began with an
introductory video presentation on Mr. Prem Rawat, followed by a video of his
peace message, delivered at Infosys. This video resonated deeply with the
audience of approximately 70 to 75 students, focusing on the theme of inner peace
and how it can be achieved in today’s fast-paced world.
Prof. Sreenivas Murthy welcomed
the volunteers and addressed the gathering, emphasizing the significance of
peace in both personal and academic life. He encouraged students to reflect on
the insights shared by Mr. Prem Rawat. To honor the spirit of the event, copies
of Mr. Prem Rawat's book, "Hear Yourself: How to Find Peace in a Noisy
World," were distributed to the students who actively participated in the
discussions and activities during the event.
The session was a profound reminder of the need for peace in
a chaotic world and inspired students to explore ways to find inner calm amidst
the noise.

ProwessIQ is database of financial performance of companies, developed by the Center of Monitoring Indian Economy Pvt. Ltd(CMIE). It includes all companies traded on the National Stock Exchange and the Bombay Stock Exchange, thousands of unlisted public limited companies and hundreds of private limited companies. It provides the date of the financial performance of over 51,000 companies.
IPE Library organized a training session on 10th November 2023, at 2:30pm. The training session provided an opportunity for the students to understand search strategies for systematic search, and step by step the process of accessing financial data. Mr. Janardan Reddy, from ProwessIQ-CMIE, was conducted hands-on practice.
